Um, Paul Krugman is brilliant. In case you don’t know who he is, he is a professor of Economics and International Affairs at Princeton University and he writes as an op-ed columnist for the New York Times.

Many people who are on the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of his political leanings dislike him, that and the fact that he writes for the New York Times, they don’t like that either since it’s, you know, a liberal-commie news source. Even some Democrats haven’t been liking him so much after his support of Hillary instead of Barack in the primary season. But basically, whatever, none of that diminishes the fact that he is brilliant — and smarter than you — and now that is a fact after yesterday it was announced that he won a Nobel Prize. More specifically, “The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2008 for his for his analysis of trade patterns and location of economic activity.”

The thing I like most about Krugman, besides the fact that always seems to be right, is that he takes his economic opinions and knowledge and those convictions lead him to take strong positions often in the minority and often speaking out against Presidential policy or other high-ranking officials. Just read any of his many books, especially, “The Great Unraveling” and you can read a chronicling of his columns that were spot on, in the face of economic stupidity from George Bush, Alan Greenspan and others from 2000-2003.

Basically, I want to share the love:

You can read his columns here.
You can read his blog here.
