Only Moment Alone

The Stanley Cup Playoffs begin tonight with the Red Wings starting their seven game series with the Nashville Predators tomorrow night.

I’ve got this feeling that the Red Wings are going deeeeep into the Playoffs this spring and I can’t seem to talk myself out of it. People are just dismissing them because of past years where the Wings would pile up a great regular season and then disappoint in the playoffs. This year is NOT ONE OF THOSE YEARS. The Red Wings are just scary good, period. Also, people must be forgetting that the Red Wings were thisclose to winning Game 5 last year against Anaheim which would have totally swung that series to the Wings. Oh well, if no respect is given now, I have a feeling it will be given after these playoffs. All Detroit needs is some consistent goal-tending and the Stanley Cup is theirs for the losing.
